Support

Help us build joyful spaces for people of color to do improv.

Your support goes directly to our community! Renting theaters, printing agendas, even keeping this website online -- it all costs money. Plus, we offer full scholarships to everyone who needs one. Thank you for making this possible!

How to Support

Spread the word. Tell a friend about our workshops. Post about our classes on social media. Many of our participants hear about us by word of mouth!

Offer space. Know a place that can host one of our workshops, classes, or shows? We’re also looking for accessible  and affordable spaces with good vibes.

Hook us up. There’s lot of little things we could use. Printer paper. Snacks. Poster paper. Markers. Blue tape. Have some extra on hand? We’re happy to use it.

Give your time. Want to check folks in at a class show? Have the skills to design a t-shirt for us? Interested in leading workshops? We’re entirely run by volunteers!

Donate money. We accept donations via PayPal and Venmo (@untoldimprov). You can also donate in-person with cash or check.

How will my contribution help?

$10 - Snacks

Participants often come to class after a long work day. Snacks help folks keep up their energy levels!

$100 - Rent a theater for a night

Theater space is needed for workshops and class shows.

$245 - Full Scholarship

Spread joy by providing one full scholarship for our 2-month class.

$750 - Rent a studio for a whole class

This provides studio space for an entire 2-month Improv for People of Color class.

I wouldn’t say that just visibility is important. I would say visibility as the stars of a show is important. That says that our stories matter.
